I'm an American, married to a Japanese husband, and mother of three kids who still self-identify as Japanese even after 4 years living in San Francisco. We just moved back to Tokyo from whence we came in 2005, shortly before I began this blog -- hence the title. No matter where we go or what we do, we always seem to be homesick for something.
