| Introduction | My belief and passion in birth started when I was in Chiropractic College. I attended a seminar on birth trauma and why children need chiropractic care. This is where I learned what was happening to moms and babies through our current birth environment and was outraged. I also learned the potential that we all have to go through this process without this unnecessary interference, leaving moms empowered and allowing babies to gently and safely make their way into the world. I have been practicing family based, wellness chiropractic since 2003, focusing on prenatal and pediatric care. I am a childbirth educator and have coached numerous women through their pregnancies and births over the years. I have myself experienced three natural, empowering home births that you can find on my site. I help women and families create safe, gentle, and empowering birth experiences. I believe women need to understand and come into their own power and ability to give birth. My goal is to help break down the fears that hold us back and sabotage our ability to create a successful birth and give you the knowledge and resources to assist you in your journey through birth and motherhood. |
