| Introduction | I am passionate about the need for systemic change in education. I firmly believe that the emphasis should shift from pure knowledge acquisition to a more holistic form of education where Social-Emotional Learning/Values Education/Character Education/Habits of Mind (or any other name that you might care to give it) gets equal importance. With this end in mind I have embarked on a training program for teachers which is now taking on the form of a blended learning program, to address the challenge of limited time with teachers. It is my aim to create a process whereby Values Education gets its due place in the curriculum. |
