| Introduction | I've wanted to go to Paris since I was 18 years old. I met my husband when we were both 19, and we talked about going to Paris someday. However, plans of going to Paris went on the back burner while we raised our three wonderful sons and became involved with family activities. Still, I always had a desire to go to Paris, and I'd come home with travel books from the library. Finally, someday was here in the year 2001, when we took our first trip to Paris. I thought it would be the one and only time that we went, but when a transportation strike kept us from visiting the Louvre, the D'Orsay, and Versailles, my husband said, "Well, guess we'll just have to go back next year." We did go back the next year, and we've been back every year since then. |
