Introduction An Iowa native, Ed has performed for over 40 years, playing countless gigs throughout the midwest, at every imaginable venue, including television, live theater, and live radio. His extensive recording experience includes albums and demos for homegrown Iowa bands, songwriters, commercial projects, and movie soundtracks. From 2010-2013, Ed was a percussionist with the Waterloo Municipal Band, on which he also served as a board member. A throwback to his days in Drum & Bugle Corps, he is a founding member of The Drumslingers, a drum line ensemble comprised of veteran DCI drum corps drummers. As a teacher, he has instructed all ages of aspiring drummers. He is currently the Lead Snare Drummer of the Cedar Glen Pipes and Drum Band, performing traditional Scottish and Irish pipe and drum band classics. He plays rock 'n roll covers with a band called "Stackhouse." Ed is a member of The United States Association of Rudimental Drummers (USARD.)
