Introduction	I am the mother of 5 daughters and 1 son ranging in age from 25 down to 8. We were a pretty average family until my 4th daughter suffered a traumatic brain injury. It is coming up on the 1 year anniversary and we live our lives very differently now. I had no idea what her injury would be like when we got the diagnosis. Everything in our world has changed and she is the strongest young woman I know. There is an experimental surgery that could provide relief from her symptoms. At this time insurance has denied coverage. McKenna's aunt is organizing a benefit to raise money for medical expenses. It will be held at the Dog House in Maplewood on October 20th from 3-7PM. All prayers, positive thoughts, and donations are appreciated.
