Introduction	For the last decade or so, I've often been accused of being a bit of a Nana. When I started high school, I picked up the nickname "Mavis" after my grandma. Actually I insisted my friends call me that. In the same year, I purchased big pink plastic rimmed librarian glasses and accidentally dyed my hair gray. It was all downhill from there.
