About Me

I am a native Texan, have lived in Coeur d'Alene, ID since 2000, and recently graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Government and Native American Studies. I will probably attend an Episcopal seminary, but that's still several years away. I am an active Democrat and have been a part of several campaigns, including Biden for President, but will vote for select Republicans when the mood strikes. Theologically, it's all about liberation, reconciliation, and grace. I spent the fall of 2006 volunteering with the Episcopal Office of Disaster Response in New Orleans, the original muse for this blog, and have also interned for US Senator Max Baucus (D-MT), the WA state Democratic Party, the Episcopal Public Policy Network, and the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane. You may have seen me elsewhere under the name "Transplanted Texan."
