Introduction | Young British writer and film director. Determind to remain independent! Made debut feature "The Plague"(2004) at the age of 22 for £3,500. Picked up a lot of industry praise, cinematic release, festival awards and notably the Katrin Cartlidge Award from Mike Leigh. Second feature film "Kapital"(2007), shot on a low budget at 25 for Manchester International Festival, premiered on the 4th July and was a collaboration with Composer Steve Martland. Currently getting my next feature(s) into production. Firstly SSDD (Same Shit Different Day) which I am making for absolutely no money and planning to blog the whole journey of improvisation, shooting, editing and self distribution. I also own the rights to Ian Bones autobiography, Bash The Rich, which I am currently adapting into a script and hoping to get funded off the back of SSDD. Broke but making films says it all basically... |
