Occupation Visual Artist & Creative Digital Designer
Location Brooklyn, NY, United States
Introduction I was born in Madrid, Spain and raised in the picturesque city of Segovia, Spain. At an early age I remember looking at art books, walking around the house trying to identify titles of art reproductions hanging on the walls, and observing while my father was painting a Still Life. From the inception I gained a love and appreciation for creativity, art, and art history which has inspired my work. My main focus and interest is in two-dimensional media such as painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, mixed media, collage, creative graphic design, and digital art. In regards to subject matter – I employ representational imagery to depict the simple joys of life, moments of contemplation, and the beautiful things that surround me -- while at the same time on a spiritual level I am concerned with themes that explore the human condition, oftentimes making use of personal symbolic iconography, form, and color. I studied art at Tufts University & the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Pratt Institute of Art & Design in Brooklyn, NY. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has been sold to numerous private collections.
Interests I work primarily in two-dimensional media such as painting, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, photography, collage, creative graphic design, and digital art. I also love music, dance, film, and travel.
