Introduction Washington’s Headquarters is a living history program. We interpret General Washington’s Headquarters and his military family and staff. This living history program provides an inside look at the duties and routines of the General and those attached to the headquarters during the war years from 1775-1783. It is our intent to recognize and honor the lives of the men, women, servants and slaves who sacrificed so much to the founding of our nation and to tell their story through living history. The Headquarters can be available upon request for any historical programs, events or battle reenactments. We are very versatile in our interpretation. Also to be had are specific individuals for varying roles or parts of the Headquarters for any occasion.
