| Introduction | I am a Reader in Building Engineering Physics in the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development (IESD), Faculty of Technology, at De Montfort University in Leicester. I am interested in energy use and generation for buildings, and in particular how to make buildings more efficient and comfortable for occupants. Current areas of work include factories, homes, schools and hospitals. I am writing this blog as a British Science Assocation Media Fellow. They provide about 10 fellowships a year to acadmic scientists to work with a publication radio or TV and attend the annual British Science Festival. |
