Edith Orenstein

About Me

Edith Orenstein is Director of Accounting Policy Analysis at Financial Executives International (FEI), an association of over 15,000 senior financial executives including CFOs, Treasurers, Controllers and Tax Executives. Before joining FEI in 2004, Orenstein spent four years in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. Previous experience includes seven years in the accounting policy division at The Chase Manhattan Bank N.A., and three years in a similar function at Bankers Trust New York Corporation. Orenstein began her career with Peat, Marwick Mitchell & Co. in Cleveland, Ohio. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the SEC Historical Society.
