Introduction Since 1993, I have been an announcer for the Radio Talking Book Network, a radio reading service for the blind and visually impaired. I have twice been nominated for the IAAIS (International Association of Audio Information Services) award for best magazine show, The New Yorker. Four days a week I produce and present a live evening broadcast of the New York Times. I was also part of the original lineup of hosts that launched 89.3 The Current, from Minnesota Public Radio. I was on the air Saturday afternoons from 3-7pm and featured an eclectic selection of music from all over the world. I got my start in college spinning records for WVKC, the Voice of Knox College, where I graduated in 1991 with a B.A. in English. I also spent two years at REV-105, slaving away in the promotions department. I live with my wife, Laura, and our daughter, Minnie, in Minneapolis. Laura is a jeweler and teacher. The music is always on at our house.
