| Introduction | I am a student at Hillsdale College, and I am currently interning at the Center for the American Idea this summer. I am majoring in American Studies, which blends history, political science, and English so that students might understand the fundamental aspects of American culture. I chose this major because I hope to come closer to understanding what it means to be an American Citizen who preserves the republic and applies her knowledge and understanding of the liberal arts to the way in which she lives her daily life--by using my gifts to serve others, giving to those in need, growing in knowledge, and loving those as Christ loves us. |
