About Me

The Breathe Healthy Air Coalition are individuals who are your friends, your neighbors, and your relatives. We are very concerned about the harmful effects of wood smoke. We support legislation to ensure that all people have the right to breathe healthy air in their yard, on their property, and in their home free of wood smoke emissions. We support prohibiting outdoor wood-burning fireplaces, fire pits, and Outdoor Wood Boilers (OWB). We support the voluntary conversion of all inside wood-burning fireplaces to natural gas or electric, and with the local/state government supporting this conversion with a financial grant. The Breathe Healthy Air Coalition is presenting the information about wood smoke so that the public is aware of its negative environmental and health effects.
