About Me

I started knitting pants when I noticed the serious lack of cool gear for boys out there! Being the mother of a boy, I bought into that whole "If you want it done right, do it yourself" thing and got the needles moving. People started asking about where they could get my stuff and Crankypants was born. I am ever so thankful that Crankypants made it possible for me to stay home with Henry for the first 3 years of his life. Now that he is happily in school, I also work part time as a teaching assistant in several third grade classrooms at a local elementary school as well as volunteering with an outreach program that brings the arts into local classrooms.
