About Me

I am an Army wife and mother of 5 boys. My husband is currently deployed to Iraq. While saddened and at times overwhelmed by the prospect of being without him for a year, I have come to see that God has been preparing me for this time my entire life. I believe He wants me to spend this time reaching out to others to offer friendship, support, and be a vessel where my Heavenly Father can pour out His love. There is not a lot that I have not experienced in my 34 years. Growing up in a dysfunctional family, widowed at 27 with 2 small boys, losing both my parents, being a military wife, being the mom of 5 boys, going through the heartbreak of watching my marriage dissolve and then watching God heal, strengthen , and restore it to become one of my greatest joys. Through it all God has been faithful and sustained me (even through my wandering years when I was too busy for Him). I face this coming year with some sadness for I worry about my husband and I know there will be times when it will seem unbearable without him. Yet, I am also excited for I know that God plans to use me to show His love and grace to others and at the same time teach me to trust Him and rely on Him solely.

You've got to make contact with the alien leader. How will you tell when the conversation is finished?

I believe aliens say "Nano Nano" when they are done.
