Introduction	Recently entered the 3rd decade of my time here on this earth so after ditching this blog in December 2009 I had to resurrect it in April 2012. I've learned a plethora of new things about myself and life while on the hiatus and realized it's time to bring my public diary back to life. Per usual you will get the musings of a loud, smart, tell it like it is, being ratchet all while trying to strengthen my relationship with God because I know he ain't threw with me yet. I am a Renaissance Black Woman... ready and willing to take over the world. I embody everything that is music, sports, radio, new media production, freelance writing, and poetry and looking to add to my repetoire...looking to have my life come full cirle and where I started in radio back in 2001 in NC be a new reality for me in NYC. I have a BA in Broadcast Production from North Carolina A&T State University. AGGIE PRIDE Forever!!! and a Masters in Music Business minor in Sports Business from NYU.

Favorite Movies	Love jones. My absolute favorite movie of all time. I have probably watched it a million times and every time take something different from it that I can apply to my life. As of late Daddy's Little Girls has been my new fetish. I can watch that movie over and over. I guess because I am the career driven business woman that for some reason seems to attract men that aren't exactly that. Ok, I digress, but I also love suspense and romantic comedies, and any movie with 2Pac, and all the old school Eddie Murphy Movies (The Golden Child, Coming to America, Harlem Knights, etc)
Favorite Music	A R&B head til I die. Old Skool to new. I also love blues, hip hop, jazz, gospel, reggae, some pop (the good, not the cheesy), a splash of house (because anymore than that and everything starts sounding the same) and some alternative because I absolutely love Maroon 5. An advocate for underrated artists like Teedra Moses to be heard. 2Pac is my favorite rapper of all time. Favorite Books	I read a lot of poetry books from old school poets like Langston Hughes, Sonia Sanchez, and Maya Angelou to the new prophets like 2Pac, Saul Williams and Jill Scott. I also love Their eyes were watching God and Inside a thug's heart.
