Introduction | I'm an Orthodox Christian, a bit eccentric, defy classification and love to laugh. My husband isn't Orthodox but I think I'll keep him anyway. We have two kids who are homeschooled. Occasionally we let them out of the house to see other kids - they just aren't allowed to talk to them. (It's a joke folks, laugh!) Finishing up the menagerie are the three dogs, Thomas, Buddy and Abbie who just had her first (and last) litter of puppies! |
Interests | I love to read and choose non-fiction most of the time, however the occasional fictional book pops up that I just have to read. I love music and enjoy a wide variety of genres. Probably my most favorite ting in the world to do is sing, I'm not too bad at it but too shy to sing a solo for anyone but the kids and dogs. I'm learning to knit and crochet, scrapbook and as always exploring various methods of homeschooling my children. I also know how to get Sharpie off of almost anything. |
Favorite Movies | It's A Wonderful Life, Sarah Plain and Tall, Skylark and Winter's End, The Stand, Halloween I and II, Christy, A Christmas Carol, Steel Magnolias, Dogs and Cats, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Bram Stoker's Dracula...just to name a few |
Favorite Music | I love a very wide variety of music. I know all the words to most of the songs on Metallica's Black album as well as most of the lyrics to any of Rebecca St. James' I've been known to listen to country, metal, CCM and Celtic all on the same mixed CD. |
Favorite Books | I can't say that I have a favorite, all books offer something special to the reader and each is unique and immesurably valuble. |
