About Me

I may live in Manhattan, but I don't belong to a gym, don't possess a bathroom scale and have even been known to eat evil carbohydrates with abandon. My personal food pyramid would probably topple over if it weren't so weighted down with cheeseburgers, pinot noir and the famous cupcakes of Billy's Bakery, just a few steps from my apartment. My skills in the kitchen leave much to be desired, but I survive. I can make tunafish sandwiches, a decent turkey burger, a mysterious concoction called "The Shrimp Thing," and a pretty good salad. Mostly I watch what my friends do and scour the cookbooks I managed to take with me after the divorce, but I owe special thanks to my celebrity pals, Paul Newman (salad dressing), and the indispensible George Foreman (grill).
