Introduction | I am a Retinal Specialist. I began with an interest in complex retinal detachments and the development of new techniques in order to make inoperable cases treatable. These included a number of poor prognosis pediatric retinal diseases. These interests lead to research in ROP and related conditions. Now I am extremely engaged in all aspects of pediatric retina. After many years as a professor at UIC I became a partner in a private practice in suburb of Chicago. I still perform a large number of both adult and pediatric retina operations and the majority of complex pediatric retina in this region. Most of the surgery is done at Lutheran General Hospital. I also do some work at Children’s' Memorial Hospital and University of Illinois Hospital. I listed some of the conditions in the interest section. |
