I like my punk bands young, loud and snotty. I like the heroin warmth of shoegaze. I like the ghostlike fragility of whispered vocals and fingerpicked guitars. I like delightfully bizarre sounds produced with the first thing you can find before you. I like "misogynistic and vapid" hip hop. I like the instant satisfaction of Bollywood music. I like anyone who's unpretentious and uncompromising about their music and are just there to have a good time. |
