Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
I have the distinction of actually having done this. One begins on the "top" of the apple with the peeler, in a circle around the stem, and continues in a spiral all the way to the bottom. This feat requires peeler skills, because if at any time the peel becomes too narrow it's liable to break and spoil the project.
