| Introduction | Charlie Boswell has been with AMD for 12 years, holds 11 software patents in signal processing and 1 in fault tolerant computing, and is the Director of Digital and Entertainment. He is the inventor of AMD Live!, a framework for balancing technology and the human mind encompassing the professional to the consumer. AMD Live! has been marketed world wide since 2004. Charlie is an accomplished musician, composer/director and was featured on Good Morning America in 2000 for his musical score on an independent film. Charlie works directly with leading entertainment industry innovators and content creators including George Lucas/JAK Film and Robert Rodriguez, as well as musical artists Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton and Mark Knopfler, and music producers Phil Ramone and Elliot Scheiner, among others. Charlie is currently working with the family of the late composer and rock icon Frank Zappa to re-master the entire Zappa catalog using AMD 64-bit workstations. Charlie is also driving AMD’s Cinema 2.0 and Fusion Render Cloud initiatives. Charlie holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri. |
