Introduction	RUPESH KUMAR short film/documentary maker. Directed the documentary "Underworld Memories of Untouchables". The documentary is the memories of three generations of people in Peringeel, a dalit village in Ezhome village of Kannur. Awarded fellowship for upcoming directors in VIBGYOR International short film festival, Thrissur in 2009. Directed the short film "Crime and Punishment". Shot the plot of gay sexuality and their conflicts with society based on thread of homicide which happened years back in Thalassery. Worked with "Blackboard", the campus movie directed by Les Miserables of Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur. Selected as the best Campus film in FILCA Campus festival, 2008, held in Thiruvananthapuram. Worked with "Twinkle Twinkle Little caste" , the documentary directed by Soumya. The documentary received Samoohyadarshanaward by the Ambedkar darshan educational society, Malappuram. Selected as the best campus documentary in the Baven's Institute of Media film festival, 2009 in Kochi. The director Soumya awarded fellowship for upcoming directors in VIBGYOR International short film festival, Thrissur in 2010.
