A member of Peterborough Wargames Club, I've been wargaming for about 20 years in one capacity or another, although I started playing seriously (if that's the right word) when the first boxed version of Warhammer fantasy came out in the early 1990's. Now, I play mainly Warhammer Ancient Battles (WAB), although not nearly as often as I'd like. My real strength is my ability with a paintbrush (I really am a cruddy general, unfortunately..) and it is this, the painting, that I get the biggest buzz out of.. Completing each model or unit and seeing it in all its glory. It's a great relaxation as well, which, as I work in Education, is really handy!! Personally speaking, I share my life with my wife, Lucia, and my baby son, Cameron, neither of whom understand my fascination for painting man-shaped chunks of lead, but fortunately love me anyway despite it!!!!
