| Introduction | Vocal pedagogue, bass-baritone, scholar of historical vocal pedagogy, and the founding editor of VOICEPrints- The Official Journal of the New York Singing Teachers Association. Daniel made his solo debut singing the baritone solos in Gabriel Fauré's Requiem at the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy. Subsequently hand-picked by Beverly Sills, he sang with the New York City Opera for twenty-three seasons, appearing in seventy operas, operettas and musicals - forty-five as soloist. Daniel's tuition is rooted in the Old Italian School teachings of Manuel García and Francesco Lamperti and the perspective of Dr. Alfred A. Tomatis- the Christopher Columbus of the Ear. |
