Chris Landau is an artist and designer who creates organic, abstract systems which resemble both the city and the cell. Using parametric modeling, animation and digital fabrication, as well as traditional approaches like drawing and printmaking, he explores themes of decay and regeneration. Landau has a BFA in printmaking and received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Art and Design from The University of Michigan. He is currently Visualizer at the OLIN landscape architecture firm in Philly where he creates renderings, 3D models, and scripted solutions for tough problems.
