Introduction	I have been painting for most of my life. I started as a 9 year old, painting in oils. Now I prefer acrylic paints along with mixed media. I have evolved from a realist to a figure painter and now to an expressionistic painter. I love brilliant color and bold compositions. My paintings need to jump off the canvas for me to be happy with them. My philosophy is to always think positive, see the good in everything, and life is so much more enjoyable. Of course I am able to do something I truly love for a living, I consider myself blessed.
Interests	Diane is a animal lover and a gardener. She has three horses and three dogs. We trail ride, camp with our horses and ride in gymkhana's. We have alot of fun. I also have twenty or so rose bushes. I adore roses, really flowers of any type.
Favorite Movies	My favorite movies are romantic comedies, I also enjoy westerns and an occasional adventure flick. I am really enjoying all of the new vampire flicks, go figure?
Favorite Music	I adore Cat Stevens, Neil Diamond, Jimmy Buffet, Nickelback, I enjoy a little Green Day and Owl City, and Jason Mraz plus all of the old upbeat tunes of the 70's.
Favorite Books	I love fantasy books. I read along with alot of my kids, the Harry Potter books, the Pentdragon series, Eragon and Eldest, anything written with a vivid imagination will hold my attention. The newest series I have finished is the Twilight series, I loved it. I have just devoured the the City of Bones and Clockwork Prince series.
