| Introduction | Cherry Callao is the third face to complete the Ilonggo 3nity, a multi-talented pop vocal group of Ilonggo singers launched by rslphoenix music team this 2010. This 17-year-old pop singer is a charmer and alluring in her own distinct way. She’s optimistic to prove her musical gifts not only as a vocalist but as prolific dancer. As Reyn Callao’s younger sister and Sheila Barrio’s cousin, this sweet girl had her own artistic and musical experiences as a part-time member of a Manila-based show band, has already proved her dancing skills by competing in various dance sports events and now, as a member of Ilonggo 3nity. She credits international singers such as Shakira, Melanie Brown of the Spice Girls, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Mariah and Lady Gaga as musical influences. In coming weeks, she will release her first double singles entitled “Ikaw Guid Lang,” an Ilonggo remake of Tiffany’s All This Time and the techno-dance themed “Text Me.” Cherry will also embark on various mini-concert events with the Ilonggo 3nity and TV guestings. Cherry Callao is a gem in her own right as a pop artist and she will prove her mettle in singing and the local dance music genre. |
