| Introduction | I am a proud teacher at James Madison Memorial High School. As a member of the Art Department we are dedicated to delivering the best possible visual art experience to each of our students. By offering a diverse range of courses in both fine art media and digital media we aim to give students a variety of ways to express themselves visually. We emphasize a wide range of skills from elements and principals of art to complex/visual problem solving. THE JMM VIDEO ART blog is an opportunity to showcase Student Video art work. As director and coach of Madison Throws Club, I have had the pleasure of working with some of the finest Track and Field Athletes in Wisconsin. In 10 years of coaching at Memorial, Spartan throwers have won 30 City Championships, 10 Big 8 Conference Championships, and Qualified for State 15 times with 9 top eight finishes, 1 Runner-up and won 1 indvidual State Champion. Madison Throws Club throwers have nearly 100 State Qualifiers and include 9 State Champions in the Shot Put or Discus in the past 9 years. The Madison Throws Club is a place to showcase Throwers Achievements, promote events, and hopefully help Throwers get better at their events. |
