| Introduction | Welcome to JimCracky. I write here my thoughts on politics, religion, spirituality, sexuality, culture and the world; you know—life’s little things. Writing puts things straight in my head. I invite you to do the same and send me email—on three conditions: you must be thoughtful, literate and polite. I welcome the interplay of ideas whether you agree or disagree, but tell me why. Don’t just hold a position, articulate it. I'm comfortable with ambiguity, I hope you can be, too. Also, if you cannot spell or write a coherent sentence, you probably won’t like JimCracky. Finally, if you cannot disagree without sarcasm, name-calling or being hateful save yourself some time and don't write. Civil disagreement by a clever analogy or turn of phrase is fun, but hard work.
