About Me

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Mischo Beauty is a beauty blog with a focus on hair, skin, nails, makeup, beauty tips, product/spa reviews, and haircare/skincare education. For those of you who don't know, I'm a small town girl from the midwest who's always had big dreams. I finished Spelman College with a degree in chemistry and I am now pursuing my true passion- beauty! I am a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and make-up artist with a focus on hair, skin and make-up. I was professionally trained by Vidal Sassoon and Elizabeth Arden Red Door. I started blogging in December 2006 with the launch of "I Love Mischo", which evolved into "Mischo Beauty". I guess you could say my blog is a preview of what's to come- so stay tuned!
