Occupation writer
Location Wick, Caithness, United Kingdom
Introduction I have, to date, written six novels in the Raumsey series. Follow the Dove, The Broken Horizon, the Road to Nowhere and the 2017 winner of the best self published novel competition run by the Scottish Association of Writers, Isa's Daughter followed by Mary Rosie's War. I also have a novella, Song for an Eagle, set in the Highlands of Scotland and is my first foray into contemporary writing. I have written two non-fiction for a victim of human trafficking, and subsequent modern day slavery, The Locket and a Five Taka Note, and Beyond the Pain. Apart from that, my claim to fame is that I was the last baby to be born on the Island of Stroma. Thereafter, mothers went into hospital on the mainland. I lived there for the first nine years of my life. When we left, the exodus of the island had already begun. I have three children, now all flown the nest and I live alone. Although I have always enjoyed writing for pleasure, I have only taken it up seriously since the death of my husband and my subsequent retirement. All my books are available from Amazon or order from any good bookstore.
