| Introduction | I never liked writing and now I am. I've kept a journal for a whole year and I found it fun going back and looking back at where I was last year. Some think by finishing college, learning stops there too, but on the contrary, that's when it all starts. I love reading quotes from intelligent, successful men or women who have failed and succeeded. I’ve come to realize that identity matters to many, and therefore people stop taking new steps in life, because who we are and who we become is based on the society’s standards and not our own. I love how God has made me different and I bet he wants me to stand out. I don’t think it just me though. Most of us get caught up with the people pleasing syndrome. I mean we act more religious, or we use big words to pretend we are someone important, or spend most our money on cloths so that someone who doesn’t matter thinks we live a good life. It makes me sick how people forget the key thing to please and that is God. I appreciate people that are courageous, especially women who are courageous to face life and yet stay real and truthful to self and others. Life is beautiful. |
