About Me
My name is Annette Bednosky. I am 41 years old, a high school counselor by current profession and an adventurer at heart. My greatest fear is being bored! I have been an ultrarunner for 5 years and am in my 4th on the Montrail UltraRunning Team. In late 2005 I sustained a serious injury to my hamstring and went through many months of rehabing. Since the injury my running has been not as high performance and I seem to continuously deal with "body mechanical difficulties"...My ability has changed, yet my passion for the support remains HUGE! I live in the mountains of Ashe County, North Carolina in a little town called Jefferson. My husband George and I live with our newest family member,9.5 year old kitty named Mama Grey in a small house in town. Besides running, I spend time quilting, cycling, and trying to sort out was is next professionally. In May '08 I finished up my Post Master's certificate in Advanced School Counseling and am unsure about staying in the schools or working towards a PhD?
