About Me
My name is Annette Bednosky. I am 42 years old, a high school counselor by current profession and an adventurer at heart. My greatest fear is being bored! I have been an ultrarunner for 6 years and in 2009 am entering my 5th year on the Montrail UltraRunning Team. During the last couple of years I have been dealing with various "body mechanicals" and have been inconsistent with my training and performance. My ability has changed, yet my passion for the support remains HUGE! I live in the mountains of Ashe County, North Carolina in a little town called Jefferson. My husband George and I live with our newest family member,10 year old kitty named Mama Grey in a small house in town. Besides running, I spend time quilting, cycling, and trying to sort out was is next professionally. I do work now as a high school counselor, yet am starting to itch for a change, likely one that will involve more teaching.
