About Me
I'm wealthy in the sense that I'm the proud posessor of a rather dashing young husband, a really brilliant two-year old boy, the knowledge of the art of piano-playing, and any number of books, old and new. Mostly old. People are the gorgeous-est things evah; but sometimes they surprise me with unsuspected depths of nastiness. Life, on the other hand, seems impersonal and only surprises me when it coughs up something happy. I'm thrilled to have recently been baptized into the Orthodox Christian Church: it's very old and very large and it has a great deal of authority and beauty. Oh yes: and I write. I do; I can't help it. Somehow everything I encounter seems saturated with significance and as soon as I see it I want to say so.
