About me

Location Cape Town, South Africa
Introduction After studying abroad in Senegal in 2007, receiving a BA in African History in 2008, and volunteering in Sierra Leone with an obstetric fistula repair program in 2008-2009, I moved from California to Cape Town, South Africa, in July 2009 to work for an organization that strives to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT) and to empower HIV positive mothers to live healthily and positively. This blog is a random collection of my thoughts and doings while living in South Africa and does not represent the views of any of the organizations for which I have worked/volunteered.
