About Me

I work for the US Environmental Protection Agency in Boston, MA, where I try to convince sewage treatment plants to use less energy. I like things that are green, like green building and green music festivals. In college, I founded Textbook Revolution, the web's home for free online textbooks. I currently write about green music issues for GreenBase and the intersection of Lean and Green for the Lean Blog. Before this, I studied Environmental Geology at Northeastern University and was a USCG licensed boat captain driving everything from ferries to large yachts to tour boats to small tugs. I live with my girlfriend, Brook, and our dog, Scooby.
