About Me

I am twenty-five. Yikes. I'm also a writer who just moved to Austin, TX, fleeing the Post-Katrina world of New Orleans. I finally got enough guts to pack everything up and chase some dreams...I work as a Copywriter for an Internet search marketing firm. All my Googling habits have paid off. I suppose I'm sarcastic, startlingly intelligent and often cynical, but hey, at least I have great hair. I was a little skeptical about this whole love thing and how it's supposed to work in my early twenties. At first I thought I was young and in love with being in love. Now,I know I've finally fallen into the right kind of love with the right kind of guy: a musical chemist with a big heart and an even bigger laugh. And what do you know? He even knows who Chaucer is and couldn't be bothered with comic books. I've started to work on other mediums of art but I don't think I'm getting anywhere fast. I still have great hair. Still. I've had to learn most things the hard way. If you pick me flowers, I'll keep them always and if you give me chocolate, you'll be my new best friend. Enjoy my little world- I know I sure do.
