About Me
I am an unreformable optimist. That, along with a built-in distrust of the status quo keeps me looking for better ways to do the next right things rather than trying to do the same things better. My passion is to create what’s next online, though I'm not so sure if there will be much of a distinction between "online" and "offline" in the very near future. I’ve been fortunate enough to do some of that through practical experiences in design, marketing and strategy for 15+ years as a creative director for mainstream brands; and over the last 5+ years with startups I've either founded, helped launch, advised or some combination thereof. I’ve made enough mistakes and also lucked out with at least a few successes. The end result is that now I get to have occasional “insights”, as opposed to just plain crazy ideas. I write about them whenever I get the chance here and for whomever will publish me. The rest of the time, I geek out on learning as much as I can, so I can bore my friends and family about what’s next whenever they let me :)
