| Introduction | From her collection of old department store catalogs, childrens textbooks and vintage wallpaper sample books to a pattern in someone’s dress fabric or the colors in a bakery window, both past and present offer Paula an endless supply of inspiration. There is no predictability for what could spark an idea that will be twisted and formed into one of her watercolor and colored pencil illustrations. Paula’s designs have been featured on products that have appeared in several prime time television shows, movies and in a variety of national magazines. Her home and studio were also the subject of a 12 page editorial in Home Companion Magazine, August/September 2004. Her original art has sold in galleries and specialty shops worldwide. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Paula attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati and graduated with a BFA degree in Photography with a minor in Painting. She now lives in Atlanta in a loft with her equally creative husband Tom Haney. |
