| Introduction | I'm a retired English teacher / consultant with the Niagara Public Board, and taught English preparation courses at Brock University for about 25 years. I spent most of my career in the classroom, but the last ten as a consultant and with the executive of the English Language Arts Network at the time of the introduction of both the NDP's Common Curriculum, and the Harris government's Standards curriculum. I was on the writing team for the latter- a simple matter of fact and not of personal pride. |
