| Introduction | At 44 I realized I just didn't have enough live music in my life and, after 6 years in Wisconsin, slowly started venturing out into the music scene. I was amazed at the talent here in the Chippewa Valley and--despite Volume One's excellent reporting--how little information I was able to find about the bands and musicians. This blog is an attempt to promote and proliferate information about bands and other events in the Chippewa Valley, giving a (subjective) overview of the music, venue and audience. If I write about you and I got something wrong, please email me. If I write about you and you want me to include more information and/or links, please email me. Since I am a recovering addict of over 20 years, I may add a quick blurb about the "safety" of the venue for others in recovery. This is not meant as criticism to the bands mentioned, or of their fans. The other side of my blog, Notes From The Red Couch, is just writing for writing's sake. |
