Introduction	Howdy, my name (well so far as you need to know) is loran16, but i also go by optimism. Some of you may know me from the metsblog and hotfoot chat where I'm an op. I'm here to keep a record of the mets season that isn't filled with overly pessimistic, melodramatic nuisances. Why am i an optimist? Well I've never seen a pro team of mine win a championship (I'm a Mets-Jets-Isles-Knicks fan) but after breaking my keyboard on a braves mets game in atlanta last year in april, i decided i needed a cooler view on the situation. So I think I'll provide one.
