Introduction The Alumni for International Human Rights Law or Alumni for Human Rights (AHR) stands as an independent, nonpartisan, diverse, and educational volunteer organization established by Human Rights Pilgrims on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2008. AHR is a member of US Human Rights Network.
Interests Universal Declaration of Human Rights; International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights; International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights; Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women; Convention on the Rights of the Child; Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment; International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination; Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide; Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families; International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, among other international human rights instruments.
