About Me

More than anything else, I believe in the Golden Rule. It seems to have worked so far in providing me with a good life. I write for a living and for fulfillment. I cannot imagine not writing. I write fiction and brochures, poetry and press releases, historical scholarship and corporate websites, news articles and editorials. I paint abstract landscapes in bold, symbolic colors. I play George Gershwin on the harmonica and Stephen Foster on the banjo. I have a wonderful wife and son and daughter and their spouses - and now five incredible grandchildren and two step-grandchildren - a veritable clan that gives me great joy and happiness. I have five good friends with whom I can share my happiness and my sorrows and who help keep me grounded.
