| Introduction | In August 2007, I started my FuseMoms blog to help "fuse" Moms with fun and frank discussion in the pursuit of surviving motherhood. On June 15, 2009, I got a shock when I thought my site had been hijacked by a hacker. After a conversation with Go Daddy, I found out the domain name had been bought out from underneath me. Because Go Daddy did not have a current email address for me (they had a work address from a job I lost in January - yet they never bothered to mail me a notice to my house) the domain name was purchased. Bummer of a lesson to learn, but allow it to serve as a cautionary tale for all the bloggers out there. This story gets ugly because the purchaser is now plagiarizing some of my writing. Since he/she/it (?) won't answer my emails, I decided to address he/she/it (?) in this forum. Since I don't know who this charlatan is, I will refer to her as Fake FuseMom. This could get ugly. I pretty much guarantee it. |
