Introduction I am a well-educated yet eternally underemployed reserved gentleman who has lived most of his life in the Rocky Mountain West and High Plains with a wide variety of interests - among them, spectator sports (MLB, NHL, College Football, MWC Hoops, NFL, CFL, & Horse Racing); public policy, 20th Century History, the outdoors, travel & sightseeing, and such sciences as meteorology/climatology, geology, ecology, astronomy, and theoretical/quantum physics; environmentalism, conservation, and alternative energies technologies; participatory sports (golf, boating, camping, fishing, walking); is open-minded, single, and with an outre sense of humor; is largely socially conservative but economically and politically progressive and socialist; and enjoys a wide range of music (classic rock, country, oldies, jazz, and new age; good food, beverages, and conversation about a wide variety of topics including the news interests of the day and history... I look forward to retiring someday perhaps to the SW Oregon Coast, the Southern Nevada Desert, somewhere in Arizona, the Washington coastal corridor, or the Northern and Eastern Montana Prairie (if I can live that long !).
